Wheelchair Collection

Parker Road Baptist Church is collecting used wheelchairs, walkers, metal crutches, and metal canes that will be given to Wheels for the World, a wheelchair outreach program of Joni and Friends, a ministry outreach organization to people with disabilities and their families..  This organization will recondition and rebuild both wheelchairs and walkers and then send them around the world to disabled people who cannot afford such equipment.  If your wheelchair is broken or you only have pieces of the equipment such as foot rests or leg supports, we will take that as well. For more information on the ministry, go to http://www.joniandfriends.org/pg_wheelchair.php.
